1. Controller and scope
Radio Synth is operated by Filip Rondón Toneva, based in Spain. Contact contact@sayso.es. This policy covers Radio Synth for iPhone and Apple Watch and this website. It is separate from the Sayso SaaS policy: using Radio Synth does not create a Sayso account.
2. Data on your device
Radio Synth works without an account. Favorites, recent stations, followed podcasts, episode progress and preferences are stored locally. They are not sent to a Radio Synth server. Device backups you choose to use are governed by your settings and Apple's terms.
3. Search and playback
Station searches send your search text or genre, and your country when used as a filter, to Radio Browser. Starting a station sends its identifier to count a click. Podcast searches and show lookups go to the Apple Podcasts directory through the iTunes API, including the country where applicable. RSS feeds, audio and artwork are requested from each station or podcast provider. These services receive necessary network data such as your IP address, the requested resource and technical client information. We do not control advertisements a provider may include in its stream or episode.
4. Optional location
If you grant permission and use Nearby, coordinates rounded to two decimal places are sent to Radio Browser to find nearby stations. We do not send your precise location. You can withdraw permission in device settings and continue using search and playback.
5. Advertising and measurement
The current version does not integrate AdMob, advertising SDKs or our own behavioral analytics. We do not sell your data or use advertising identifiers for tracking. Audio providers may still measure their own requests or include advertising in their content. If we add advertising or new processing, we will update this policy and request applicable permissions before enabling it.
6. This website and support
This website is hosted on Vercel. Its infrastructure may process IP addresses, request times, URLs and technical browser information to deliver pages and operate the service. We do not add cookies, advertising pixels or analytics tools to these pages. When you email contact@sayso.es, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, solely to answer and follow up on your request.
7. Purposes and legal bases
Data needed for the functions you request is processed to provide the service (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). Optional location uses your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw. Support and website availability rely on our legitimate interest in resolving issues and providing a reliable service (art. 6(1)(f)). Information may also be retained to meet legal obligations (art. 6(1)(c)).
8. Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you remove it in the app or delete the app from your device. Support messages are kept while needed to resolve and follow up on the request, and afterwards only for a legal obligation or an outstanding claim. Directory, audio, hosting and email providers apply their own retention periods to the technical data they receive. Contact us for information or to request deletion of support data.
9. Providers and international transfers
Radio Browser, Apple and content providers handle requests under their own terms; Radio Synth does not send them your local library. Website hosting and support email may involve providers processing data outside the European Economic Area. Where we appoint a processor requiring a transfer, applicable safeguards must be used, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about applicable safeguards. See Apple's privacy policy, Radio Browser and Vercel's privacy notice.
10. Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, or withdraw consent, by emailing contact@sayso.es with the subject “Radio Synth — Privacy”. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. We will respond within the legal deadline, normally one month. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency or your local data protection authority.
11. Updates
We will update this page when data processing changes. The version date appears above. Any additional information or consent required for a change will be provided before that processing begins.
